The World Day of Social Justice is an international day that recognizes the importance of promoting justice by addressing issues such as poverty, marginalization, gender inequality, unemployment, human rights, and social protection.
The United Nations General Assembly declared February 20th to be the World Day of Social Justice, which was ratified on November 26, 2007, and would be seen yearly beginning in 2009. In order to grow our future generations, we must teach them early on to be united! Childhood poverty, global citizenship, human rights, and sustainable development are all good themes to teach children about the importance of social justice.
In summary, The World Day of Social Justice is a day to respect everybody and treat them with equity and equality. Although this day is a genuinely thoughtful day to honor, we should not be limited to respecting others only once a year. How about complimenting somebody every day? Or maybe helping them out? In order to respect somebody, you must not use a bias, you must reach out to them and meet them from a different point of view!
