> Firstly, who ARE people with “disabilities”? (dis·a·bil·i·ty).

A “disability”, as you may have heard, is a physical or mental condition that limits a person's movements, senses, or activities. There are many people who suffer from disabilities, the most common ones are depression, diabetes, strokes, and cancer. People with disabilities have a very, very, different life, compared to able bodied people. According to cdc.gov, 1 in 4 adults have disabilities in just America! Being excluded by your disabilities may make you feel powerless. During this holiday season, we can encourage people with disabilities to feel stronger, and possibly more confident about themselves!
