What is diwali? Diwali is a Hindu celebration that honors the triumph of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, and good over evil. During this celebration, people light candles. They also light Diyas, or lamps, around their house. Diyas signify goodness and purity. This is a celebration of triumph over evil after Krishana’s victory over Narakasura.
Now, what is sung during Diwali? Songs like, Kaise Diwali Manaye,Mele Hain Chiragon ke, Aayee Ab Ki Saal Diwali, and Om Jai Jahdish Hare are songs that you would hear during the celebration. There are special songs/prayers that would be sung by the celebrators during Diwali. Now, there are definitely more songs and prayers that would be sung but, let’s keep this short for now.
Diwali’s most important day is the third day. The third day is known as Lakshmi Puja. This is a celebration for the goddess Lakshmi . According to Google, Lakshmi is the goddess of wealth, fortune, prosperity and the embodiment of beauty.
